Ligent SFP SONET OC-12 / SDH STM-4 duplex transceivers are designed for high-speed serial PHY/PMD/PMA applications in a wide range of metro, access or long haul telecommunications equipment where high performance and low cost are paramount. The SFF and SFP models are powered by a single 3.3 volt DC supply. The 1x9 models can be supplied with either the 3.3 volt or the 5.0 volt option. They are available in 1310 nm or 1550 nm versions covering ranges from 15 km to 120 km. They operate at 622 Mb/s and meet the optical interface requirements of SONET OC-12 IR-1, LR-1 and LR-2; SDH STM-4 S-4.1, L-4.1 and L-4.2.
