Ligent ITU-T G.983.1 and G.983.3 point to point OC-3 bidirectional transceivers are designed for FTTH, ATM, Access or SONET applications in single fiber optical communications equipment. The standard 1x9 single in-line (SIL) and 2x5 small form factor (SFF) packages incorporate the SC simplex optical receptacle or a fiber pigtail with the SC/PC optical connector. They are designed for 3.3 volt operation.
